"The Tamil Nadu government should conduct a meeting with Kerala over the Pandiyaru-Punnampuzha water scheme, which is pending since 1967. If this is done, we may get minimum water supply of 18 TMC feet, which can be used for irrigation," he told reporters here.
In addition, the state could implement the Avinashi Athikadavu scheme, using the surplus water, benefitting dry areas in Coimbatore, Tirupur and Erode district, he said.
On alliance with other parties, he said, it was too early to say anything about it and he would certainly do so once the assembly elections are declared.
