Dismissing the ongoing protest by Delhi Chief Minister Arivind Kejriwal in the national capital as a "publicity stunt", Union Minister G K Vasan today said the AAP leader is setting a wrong precedent.
"It is not a good sign for a Chief Minister. Instead of taking up his responsibility, indulging in these kind of protests are only a 'publicity stunt". The public will not benefit from it. It is setting a wrong precedent," he told reporters here when asked his reaction to the protest.
Kejriwal continued his protest today by threatening to flood Rajpath, the venue for the Republic Day celebrations, with AAP supporters demanding action against policemen who refused to carry out a raid on a alleged drug and prostitution racket.
Asked about the Tamil Nadu fishermen's issue, Vasan hoped the January 27 talks here between representatives of fishermen's associations of the state and Sri Lanka would be successful.
"I hope an amicable solution will be taken in the meeting. We wish that the meeting is successful. I have already stated that it should not be politicised," he said.
