VCK not anti-Hindu, says Thiruma

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi chief Thol Thirumavalan has said his party was not anti-Hindu but was only fighting for equality and cause of oppressed people.
Addressing a public meeting organised in connection with the silver jubilee celebrations of VCK here late last night, he said his party also wanted to fight for the cause of Tamil nationalism.
He sought the support of people cutting across caste and religious barriers.
Thirumavalavan said he would hear the views of his partymen before deciding on the alliance for 2016 assembly elections.
