Mohun Bagan are facing the ban for abandoning their derby against East Bengal on December 9, citing security reasons after one of their key players, Syed Rahim Nabi, was injured after being hurled a stone.

"Both the parties presented their case. We had a look of the video footage of the match. I have to look into all angles," Ganguly, a retired Supreme Court judge, said.

Mohun Bagan were represented by three lawyers, headed by Gitanath Ganguly, along with general secretary Anjan Mitra and director Debasish Dutta.

Legal counsel Usha Nath Banerjee was the representative from the AIFF.

According to Mitra, the club tried to convince the committee that there was law and order problem during the match at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

"There was law and order problem during the match. Our players were scared, and the priority was to save them," said Mitra.

According to AIFF constitution's Clause 22, Mohun Bagan stands to be banned for two years if found guilty.
