The petitioner today submitted that elections were conducted despite the court order.
CSI denied the charge and submitted that the interim order had not reached members and could not be communicated in time. They had just assembled there to discuss other agendas but not the elections.
When the court sought to know what was the other agenda, CSI was unable to clarify it, following which the HC orally directed the Coimbatore Police Commissioner to verify and submit to it whether elections were conducted.
