Singh, treasurer of the Chamba Congress Committee for several years, breathed his last yesterday, family members said.
He was also the founder chairperson of the local Urban Cooperative Bank.
The mortal remains of Singh were consigned to flames this afternoon. People from different walks of life attended the funeral.
