Singh(90) is survived by his son and grandson.
The Congress leader, who was suffering from a protracted illness, died at the Fortis Hospital in Chandigarh this afternoon, they said.
He was elected to Himachal Pradesh Assembly twice in 1993 and 1998 and has also served as Parliamentary Secretary in V B Singh government during his first term as MLA.
