"After the elections, the party in our state is in disarray and moribund state, calling for immediate attention. The sooner necessary remedial measures are taken for revival of the party, the better," Panigrahi said in the letter.
An objective analysis of the disastrous electoral performance of the party, supposed to be the beginning of the much needed revival process, should not be avoided as in the past, said the former MP.
"I feel it will be better to have a meeting of the extended PCC Executive Committee called on this occasion on June 11 for the purpose, so that the above three AICC office bearers will be able to attend the same," Panigrahi said.
Election of the leader of CLP, having only 16 members, will be a simple matter to be completed in a short time, thus leaving enough time for the proposed Executive Committee meeting, he said in the letter.
