Veteran trade union leader Muthukumar passes away

: Veteran trade union leader and senior CITU leader P Muthukumar passed away here today.
He was 74. He is survived by his wife and a son, a CITU release said.
It did not state what was the cause of his death.
Kumar was State General secretary and CITU secretary. He was also Vice president of state unit of CITU and executive committee member of the all india Unit of CITU, it said.
He had written a book on the Cotton Mill workers.
