Viacom18, Bhansali Productions join hands for Mary Kom, Gabbar

Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions have come together to co-produce Akshay Kumar starrer 'Gabbar' and Mary Kom's biopic, starring Priyanak Chopra.
'Gabbar' is a remake of a Tamil blockbuster 'Ramana' to be directed by Krish of 'Vedam' and 'Gam Yam fame'. The Mary Kom Biopic is directed by Omung Kumar.

'Mary Kom' went on the floor this week, while 'Gabbar' is expected to go on floor later this year.
The upcoming releases of Viacom18 are 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', 'Madras Cafe', 'Queen' and 'Boss'.
