Viagara tablets worth around Rs 50 lakh, allegedly meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka, were seized today from a country boat near here and one person arrested in this connection, police said.

Acting on a tip off, police went to the spot in Keezhakarai, about 50 km from here, and found a country boat laden with the drugs.

The police managed to nab one person while two others escaped leaving behind the pills.

A special team has been formed to arrest the duo, police said.
