Organic farming or the organic food products is the only available alternative to overcome the situation, he said.
The world organic production with certification covers 38 million Hectares. Having the largest number of certified organic farmers of around six lakhs, India has to play a vital role in this area, he said.
The world market for organic products is 64 billion US Dollars. This unique exhibition cum -workshop is organized for the benefit of the rural farming community, agribusiness sector, food processing industry and for promoting small farmer entrepreneurship and rural development.
