Vice-PresidentVenkaiah Naidu will be on a two-day visit to Goa from Thursday during which he will attend the convocation ceremony of a premier technical institute here, a senior official said Wednesday.
In a press note, a state government spokesman said Naidu will arrive at the Dabolim airport in Goalate in the evening on September 27 by a special aircraft from Ranchi.
Naidu will take night halt at Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula near here. Hewill plant a sapling at Raj Bhavan in the morning of September 28, the press note said.
Thereafter, he will attend the convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) at Kala Academy in Panaji, it said.
Later in the afternoon, the vice-presidentwill leave for Mumbai, the spokesman added.
