The panchayat that was convened here last evening also threatened to launch an agitation if the culprits are not booked.
"The panchayat has demanded the immediate arrest of the police officials named in Vicky Tyagi's murder," community leader Raj Singh said.
An armed juvenile who had entered a courtroom here masquerading as a lawyer, mortally shot Vicky Tyagi multiple times on February 16.
The juvenile was arrested from the spot the same day and sent to jail. Brijbir Singh, another accused in the case was nabbed on February 17 and remanded to judicial custody till March 2.
The community leader said that future course of action will be decided at the Mahapanchayat in Pawti village on February 27.
Prabha Tyagi, the complainant in the case and mother of the deceased as well as other community members were present in the panchayat.
