Victor Hospitals rebrands itself as Rajagiri Victor Hospital

Margao-based Victor Hospitals and Medical Services Hospital has been rebranded as 'Rajagiri Victor Hospital' after it tied up with religious institute, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) of Kochi.
"We are proud to announce our association with Carmelites of Mary Immaculate which is based out of Kochi. Our hospital and medical service facility at Margao will be now known as Rajagiri Victor Hospital," chairman of Alcon Victor Group, Victor Albuquerque, told media persons yesterday.
Albuquerque saidRajagiri will assist Alcon Victor Group in providing best of health care at affordable prices as the desire of the promoters of the group is to run the hospital on a socio-corporate model.
The group has decided to rebrand itself from the 'corporate tag' to a socio-corporate one in order to provide better health care services at affordable prices, he said.
With this motive, the promoters decided to rebrand the hospital and associate itself with a group that has a motto to serve the society, Albuquerque added.
The Rajagiri brand is promoted by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) with its headquarters in Kochi. The Rajagiri Group has established itself as an unique and unparallelled tradition in delivering the best in the avenues of education and health care, he said.
Goa Deputy Chief MinisterFrancis D'Souza and Margao MLA Digambar Kamat and Varun Albuquerque Director - Alcon Victor Group, were also present during the media interaction.
Besdies, Rev Fr Dr Jose Cletus Plackal- Provincial - Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), Kochi, and Rev Fr Johnson Vazhappilly - CMI executive director, Rajagiri Victor Hospital, were also present.
