The 74-year-old said he admires the clothes the singer- turned-designer wears, reported Contactmusic.
"I think she looks very smart and she dresses a lot better than lots of people like that. I'm not mad about the shoes she wears.
"They look like they hurt a bit - if you were told you had to wear those for the rest of your life you'd burst out crying," he said.
Bailey also likes the way Britain's Duchess of Cambridge dresses and says she is finally bringing style to the royal family.
"Catherine looks great and she's the first royal who dresses with a bit of style, isn't she?" he said.
