The former Spice Girl will be apparently working alongside the United Nations to act as a goodwill representative for the UNAIDS campaign, reported Daily Star.
The 39-year-old fashion designer, who turns 40 next week was
compelled to take this step following a recent trip to South Africa.
While visiting Cape Town, Victoria was made aware of the astonishingly high numbers of people living with HIV/AIDS.
In association with UNAIDS, the former pop star hopes to raise awareness of the disease which can be transmitted from mothers to their children.
Victoria is also a patron of the Elton John AIDS foundation.
