Videographer sacked for filming woman in car, despite protests
Press Trust of India Pudukottai (TN) A videographer's act of filming a woman sitting in a car during a vehicle check, despite objections from the occupants and his colleagues in the Election expenses monitoring committee flying squad has cost him his job.
Police said the squad had stopped the car on the night of March 13.
The videographer, instead of recording articles in the vehicle, allegedly took shots of a woman in the car, leading to a heated exchange between the car occupants, the man and other members of his team.
The occupants of the car filed a complaint with the Election Commission today about his behaviour.
A case was registered against the man and he was dismissed from the service today, police said.
