The complainant, a resident of Koahi village of Sitamarhi district, had lodged a complaint with the bureau against the sub-inspector who is in-charge of Mahindwara outpost alleging that he had demanded a bribe of Rs 6000 in connection with a case lodged in Runnisaidpur police station.
After verifying the complaint the team led by deputy superintendent of police Munna Prasad conducted a raid and caught the accused while accepting a bribe.
