Vijay Goel leads march against sealing drive

Union minister Vijay Goel today led a march against the ongoing sealing drive and attacked the AAP government, alleging it wanted the exercise to continue for "political" reasons.
The former Delhi BJP chief, accompanied by a large number of traders, took out the march in the Sadar Bazar.
If Arvind Kejriwal "feels he has no power or he isn't being allowed to govern Delhi, then there's no point for him to continue as chief minister", Goel said.
The minister said "lack of coordination" among the civic agencies had led to "confusion and chaos" and batted for a "Mega Plan" by the Centre for "all-round development" of the city.

The Delhi BJP also extended support to the traders who will go on two-day strike from tomorrow.
A delegation of traders today met Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari in this regard.
Tiwari said the Delhi BJP was in touch with the Centre and the woes of the traders will end soon.
Municipal corporations in Delhi have undertaken the sealing drive initiated by a Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee. Commercial premises have been sealed for failing to deposit conversion charges according to provisions in Master Plan 2021.
