The actor,who was included as main accused,submitted that he appeared before the court on July 1 in response to summons.
As an enquiry was on in some other case, he, along with party workers and members of the public waited outside the court hall. At that time the judge stopped the enquiry and asked the court officer to take up his case.
But the PP preferred a police complaint and the latter had 'foisted' a false case against him and others, he said, adding the case was 'politically motivated.'
Vijayakant pointed out that the judge himself had permitted him to come inside the court hall and said the PP had no authority to give a complaint without getting prior permission from the judge.

He alleged some persons had conspired to prevent him from appearing in courts. Hence multiple cases had been registered against him.

Irked by the disruptions,Principal District Sessions Court Judge Chinnaraj returned to his chambers till order was restored. The case was later adjourned.
Trouble began after Vijayakant's supporters allegedly banged on court hall doors and shouted slogans as the Judge took up a murder case trial since the DMDK leader came late.
As Vijayakant allegedly stared at him, the PP advised him to look at the Judge and also allegedly asked him to stand in the accused box, leading to a scuffle between the two sides.
The PP later told reporters Vijaykant's supporters attacked him and his reading glass was broken in the melee.
Vijayakant has been charged with allegedly making defamatory remarks against Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on October 14 last year at a public meeting.
