Gupta said he was perturbed by two actions of the Delhi government -- nominations of members to the State Naming Authority and of 30 Aldermen to the three municipal corporations -- getting the Lt Governor's approval.
"The steps taken are one-sided and sets the Opposition aside. Of the seven MLA members in the naming authority, no one is from the Opposition. This is not a single instance. The L-G is putting a stamp on it," he said.
The 34-member body, headed by the Deputy Chief Minister, chaired by the deputy chief minister, has officials from the Central government besides the seven MLAs as its members.
As per the provisions of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, the government nominates 10 people as Alderman for each of the three municipal corporations in the national capital after the Lt Governor's approval.
Gupta alleged that AAP was giving "back door entry" to party workers after losing the municipal elections.
