Director Vikram Bhatt says he lacks the acting acumen and it was because of his grey hair that he got to play a genie in 'Bhaag Johnny'.
Known for directing-producing thriller and horror films, Vikram will be facing the camera for the first time in his career. He will be seen as a genie in 'Bhaag Johnny', a thriller.
"I think my white hair got me the role. I think acting is boring because you have to sit for a long time. And being a director I am used to running around and being busy on sets. I lack the actor software," Vikram told PTI.
The filmmaker was not keen on acting in the film, but director Shivam Nair managed to convince him to play the interesting character.
"It is a spiritual thriller...It is about a genie who gives the hero a boon who can live two lives. In one he can murder and in other he cannot murder. I am the person who gives him the boon," Vikram said.
Vikram is also co-producing the film with T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar. The film stars Kunal Khemu in the lead.
