Ratan Pal, the husband of Khandera village head Jaganvati and their son Harinder was beaten up yesterday by former pradhan Virender and his accomplices when she objected to their inclusion of some names in the BPL families list on the ground of ineligibility, they said.
A case has been registered against the absconding accused while the further probes are on, they added.
