Village Revenue Officer held for taking bribe

Village Revenue Officer (VRO) of Kaluvarai village in Vizianagram district was arrested while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 today, Anti-Corruption Bureau Officials said.
K Madhava Naidu demanded the bribe for process for mutation of the land and issuance of pattadar passbook of the complainant, they said.
The complainant then approached the ACB and Naidu was caught red-handed while he was taking the bribe at Tehsildar Office premises in Vizianagaram's Bobbili.
He will be produced before the ACB court at Visakhapatnam.
