The officer said that the complainant wanted certain works to be completed in the land of his father-in-law including the measurement for which he wanted the 7/12 extract and plans.
For the same, the complainant had submitted his application to Saravali Mandal office, he added.
Talathi Ananta Madke (34) demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant for issue of the documents, the officer added.
Following a complaint, a trap was laid this evening at the talathi's office where ACB sleuths nabbed one Ankit Rathod (41) while accepting Rs 4,000 as part of the bribe on Madke's behalf, he said.
