The villagers have been protesting by standing in water that has submerged land in their villages as the state government allowed water level in the Indira Sagar and Omkareshwar dams to be raised.
Addressing the agitators, Narmada Bachao Andolan leader, Alok Agrawal said that the condition of those protesting by standing in water has worsened as they remained in it for the last 13 days.
The talks with the administration on the issue has failed, he said.
The protesters have resolved again that they would not give up till their demands were met.
Similar protest has been going on at Khardana village in Harda district since last eight days.
Meanwhile, CPI Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, D Raja has written a letter to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressing concern over the protest.

Raja said that there was a threat to nearly 150 villages affected by dam and Supreme Court's directives were being overlooked and urged him to personally look into the matter.
Similarly, CPM leader Vrinda Karat also wrote a letter to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan urging the government to follow the Supreme Court order in this regard.
