Kejriwal, who today embarked on his four-day visit of the state to "verify" Modi's development model, was heading towards Sami village in the district.
The agitators are apparently livid over candidature of Patkar by AAP for the Lok Sabha elections. Patkar is the AAP nominee for Mumbai North East constituency.
When asked, a villager, who participated in the protest, said he was supporter of BJP ideology but not associated with any party.
