The 44-year-old actor has confirmed that he has already held talks with Universal Pictures about reprising his role as anti-hero Richard B. Riddick in the sci-fi film fanchise, reported Contactmusic.
"I think they are liking what they are seeing... Because they asked when both 'Underverse' and 'Furya' would be ready to make and release... Now that's a ways in the future but it is exciting. (sic)", Diesel posted on his Facebook page.
The "Pacifier" star has recently wrapped up the third film in the franchise, "The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking", and said the movie is set to be released early next year despite previous plans for the movie to come out at the end of 2012.
"The studio said the earliest they could release the new 'Riddick' is in January... Was hoping for 2012... But, it's on the horizon," he added.
The forthcoming 'Riddick' motion picture is written and directed by David Twohy, and country singer Keith Urban is set to reprise his role as Vaako, with Katee Sachoff and Jordi Molla also in line to star in the project. PTI CORR NDS AGL
