Kej was declared a winner for his collaborative album 'Winds of Samsara' in the New Age Album category. The Bengluru-based artiste teamed up with South African flautist Wouter Kellerman on the album.

Indian activist Neela Vaswani won a Grammy for a documentary on Malala Yousafzai in the category of Best Children's Album where she turned narrator.
