Visitors entering Malaysia through Kuala Lumpur International airport will be screened, health minister S Subramaniam said.
The situation in the country was under control and no new cases were reported, he said.
Malaysia recorded its first death related to Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) on April 13, after a 54-year-old man contracted the MERS-CoV while performing umrah in Mecca.
The deadly disease, which is rapidly spreading in Saudi Arabia and around the world, has already claimed more than 100 lives in Saudi Arabia and has become a global health concern.
