The induction of the new aircraft would help the airline enhance its services, Vistara said in a release.
The 148-seater Airbus A320 features three class configurations -- business class (16 seats), premium economy (36 seats) and economy (96 seats).
"We are delighted to announce the arrival of our ninth aircraft. The new aircraft will allow us to further enhance our capacity on our key routes and allow many more customers to fly Vistara. With this addition, our fleet induction for the year is complete," said Vistara chief executive officer, Phee Teik Yeoh.
A 51:49 joint venture airline between India's Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, Vistara commenced flight services from January this year and crossed the one lakh-passenger mark in October.
The Delhi-based airline currently operates 297 weekly frequencies from 12 domestic airports, including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Goa.
