Vistara rolls out slew of special offers

Tata-SIA joint venture Vistara today rolled out a slew of special offers to its customers including free return tickets to the winners of a contest and discount on shopping and dining, among others, as it seeks to fill more number of seats in its aircraft during the festival period.
According to an airline release, Vistara's customers flying between November 9 and November 16, will receive a set of gift vouchers as well that can be redeemed on future Vistara flights.
Vistara attempts to unite people with their loved ones with its festive campaign, '#HamariPehliDiwali', and inviting people to share their 'Pehli Diwali' stories and gives participants a chance to fly and celebrate with their loved ones, the airline said,

Since its launch in January this year, the Delhi-based airline has flown a total 6.49 lakh passengers till September this year, accounting for a little over one per cent of the total market pie.
"This is Vistara's first Diwali and we intend to make it special and memorable for our fliers, and for us too. With the launch of #HamariPehliDiwali campaign and the Boarding Pass Exclusives, we would like to extend our gratitude to all our customers," Vistara chief executive officer Phee Teik Yeoh said.
Vistara's special 'Boarding Pass Exclusives' programme is also being introduced concurrently for fliers to avail exciting discounts from partners in retail, dining, travel and transport, wellness and hospitality, it said.

The vouchers accord special benefits such as a 5 kg additional checked-baggage allowance, upgrade to premium economy and 500 bonus Club Vistara (airline's loyalty programme) points, airline said.
