VLCC to focus on obesity related problems in women

Premier Wellness brand VLCC is focusing on obesity, particularly among women which has been now becoming a major problem across the globe, a top company official said today.
About 36 per cent our of its large customer base in Tamil Nadu appeared to be prone to obesity and related diabetes which leads to stress, VLCC Founder and Mentor, Vandana Luthra said here.
Speaking after inaugurating the second VLCC facility here, she said that VLCC Group is operating at 300 locations in 121 cities across 16 countries, with 56 facilities alone in South India. There was plan to open more facilities in Southern Parts of the country, she said.

txtWeb launches Practice Test apps for students * txtWeb, a global text-based app platform from US-based software firm Intuit, today said it has launched Practice Test apps that will allow users to view model question papers of different exams.
Students can view the model question papers for 10th and 12th board exams, entrance exams for IBPS (banking), JEE, AIIMS, MBA and UPSC.

"The Practice Test Apps are purely SMS-based. It neither requires smart phone nor a data plan. Students in rural areas, unlike their city counterparts, don't have access to the net or cannot afford to go to training or coaching institutes. This app helps them overcome these challenges, lets them practice model questions through a technology in their pockets," txtWeb Managing Director Manish Maheshwari said in a statement.

The user has to type the keyword such as -- @10board (10th board), @12board (12th board), @ibpstest IBPS exam),
@jee (JEE exam), @aiims (AIIMS exam), @logic (MBA exam), @upsc (UPSC exam)--- and SMS it to 51115.
