Volkswagen launches updated versions of Polo, Vento in India

German auto major Volkswagen today launched updated versions of its popular models Polo and Vento in India, priced between Rs 5.33 lakh to Rs 12.13 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The company has launched the updated Polo priced between Rs 5.33 lakh and Rs 8.9 lakh and introduced an updated version of its mid-sized sedan Vento between Rs 7.85 lakh and Rs 12.13 lakh.
The two models now come with additional features like touchscreen infotainment system, mirror link connectivity, phone book and SMS viewer and rain sensing wipers, among others.
"Vento and Polo have been among our best-selling carlines since their inception in the Indian market," Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, Director, Michael Mayer said.

The company is optimistic of "continuing to raise the bar" through its brand-new offerings and further expand the growing Volkswagen family in India, he added.
Volkswagen currently sells the Polo, the Vento, the Jetta and the Beetle in India.
