Kumar made the appeal in the wake of a case in which an Indian salesman Anil Kumar Balan had reportedly locked himself in a friend's house after his employer demanded 3,500 dinars for losses he suffered in business, Gulf Daily News report said.
Kumar, During the embassy's monthly open house event, said many victims are reluctant to come forward and approach the police or Labour Ministry.
