W. Railway, S-E Railway champions in Railway TT Championship

Western Railway and South Eastern Railway have emerged men's and women's champions respectively in the 62nd All India Railways table tennis Championship in Guwahati recently.
Pravakaran of Southern Railway and Tekeme Sarkar of Northeast Frontier Railway won the individual men's and women's titles respectively.
Pravakaran defeated Anirban Nandi of South Eastern Railway 4-2, while Tekeme beat Rupsha Bhattacharya of Metro Railway 4-3 in their summit clashes.
South Eastern Railway women's team of Anindita Chakraborty, Medha Moitra, Pallabi Kundu, Saptaparni Guha and Gargi Nag won all the five matches en route to the title.
The SER eves defeated Western Railway 3-1, runners-up Central Railway 3-1, Metro Railway 3-0, Northeast Frontier Railway 3-0 and Eastern Railway 3-0.
In the men's team event, Western Railway edged out Southern Railway for the title while SER had to settle for the third place.
