Waaree Energies commissions solar power plant for Roha Dyechem

Solar manufacturer and solutions provider Waaree Energies Ltd today said it commissioned a 27.5-mw DC solar power plant for Roha Dyechem Pvt Ltd at Bhadla solar park in Rajasthan.
Spread over 125 acres, the project has the distinction of being commissioned in a record 116 days, Waaree Energies Ltd said in a release.
According to the statement, the project was allocated to Roha Dyechem Pvt Ltd under the Rajasthan Solar Policy 2011 (Phase 1) with a 25-year PPA (power purchase agreement) with Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL).
Waaree Energies was engaged by Roha Dyechem as an end-to-end EPC (engineering procurement construction) solution provider.
The Project utilises 305 Wp and 310 Wp polycrystalline Solar Panels and 750 kW TMEIC Central Inverter. This is the second-largest project commissioned by Waaree Energies Ltd after its 50-mw project for Waaneep Solar during 2015.
Waree Energies Chairman and MD Hitesh Doshi said, "The project reiterates our commitment towards high quality both in terms of seamless execution and time-bounded delivery mechanisms."
