Walt Disney's old mansion sold for USD 74 million
Press Trust of India Los Angeles An old mansion which once belonged to movie mogul Walt Disney has been sold for USD 74 million, down from its asking price of USD 90 million.
The house has been bought by an undisclosed international buyer.
Gabriel Brener, co-owner of the Houston Dynamo soccer team, bought the Carolwood Estate in LA in the 90s from the Disney trust for USD 8.45 million and made some improvements over the years, reported TMZ.Com.
The mansion now has 8-bedrooms, 17 bathrooms and sits on nearly 4 acres. It features a pool, wine cellar, tennis court, library, gym, putting green and movie room.
The estate -- listed by Jay Harris from The Agency -- does not have many Disney touches left, but the house still has the rose bushes planted by Lillian Disney, the tunnel, which housed Disney's 'Carolwood Pacific Railroad' train and the famous Disney gate.
