"I want that we should all come together and join hands and make Chandigarh like Singapore," he told reporters on the sidelines of an event here.
Chandigarh is also known as 'City Beautiful', and has the potential to be even better than Singapore, Badnore said.
"We also want that crime rate in Chandigarh should become zero," he said.
"How can we make Chandigarh even better than Singapore, for this I want everyone's cooperation," Badnore said.
Badnore said he visited Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh last week where parliamentarians and Bollywood actors played a cricket match to spread awareness about making India TB-free.
"Tandon's Foundation should also use the opportunity of camps such as the one organised here today to spread awareness about the TB," he said.
