The 29-year-old, who shot to fame after winning 'American Idol' in 2005, has sold more than 15 million copies of her albums and has won five Grammy awards, reported Sun Online.
"I'm so excited to come over here and perform for the first time. I don't really know why country music isn't popular in the UK but I'm hoping to change that. Country music is all about people, it's about how you live, it's not about pimped out limos and bling bling.
"It's about life and people that you know and stories you can relate to. It is a great time to get involved as there is every kind of country music out there at the moment. There is more traditional artists and people like me who mix a little bit of everything into it. There will be something you like," she said.
