Wanted criminal carrying reward of Rs 50,000 arrested

A notorious criminal, carrying a Rs 50,000 reward on his head, was today arrested by the Haryana Police from Noida in Uttar Pradesh for his alleged involvement in incidents of murder and dacoity.
The arrested accused is identified as Devendra, a resident of village Bhawad in district Sonepat, a police spokesperson said.
Devendra was arrested from Noida in Uttar Pradesh during a search operation to nab the culprits and anti-social elements, he said, adding, he was presented before a court from where he was sent to four days police remand.
The nabbed accused was allegedly involved in a case of murder registered at Murthal Police Station in 2014, he said.
He was also involved in two other incidents of dacoity and illegal arms, the spokesperson said.
