Wanted criminal nabbed by STF after 20 years of chase

A criminal, who was absconding for the past 20 years and wanted in five murder cases, was today arrested by the Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh police from Mainpuri district.
Rajbhushan, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, was arrested on a tip-off from Fardpur crossing at Bhogaon area of Mainpuri district, STF said here.
The arrested criminal told police that he was residing in Nepal from 2000 to 2014 after which he came to India and was hiding at various places here.
He was absconding since 1996, police said.
