The unexploded bomb, dropped during the World Way-II, was found by the villagers. After defusing and emptying the bomb, the shell has been used as a church bell for many long years.

The villager erected a wooden post as its stand and used a stone to ring the bell. The villagers refused to replace it when many offered a new bell, the sources said.
