Ward-boy of govt hospital arrested for molestation

A ward-boy of government-run KEM hospital here was arrested for allegedly outraging the modesty of a woman whose son had been admitted in the hospital.
"Dheeraj Ganpat Tambe (33) was arrested on the charge of outraging the modesty of the woman," said a police officer from Bhoiwada police station.
According to the police, the 38-year-old woman, a resident of Raigad district, brought her son to the hospital on July 19 as he was suffering from acute stomach pain.
Tambe today asked her to come with him to the operation theatre to collect a medical report. Once inside the operation theatre, he allegedly touched her inappropriately and proceeded to bolt the door.

The woman realised his intentions and started screaming, which alerted the people nearby who came to her rescue.
Tambe was subsequently handed over to the police.
