The Bhati ward under the South Delhi Municipal Corporation area recorded the highest voting percentage, accounting for 27,215 votes out of the total 42,285 registered electorates in it, according to Delhi State Election Commission report.
Bhati, falling under the Assembly constituency of Chhatarpur, had five hyper-sensitive polling stations, a DSEC official said.
Polling stations in Bhati ward witnessed a flow of voters towards the close of the voting time, scheduled at 5 pm.
"A sensitive or ultra-sensitive or hyper-sensitive polling station means, we deploy more security there and keep a watch on it," he said.

Also, the categorisation of stations is done by both Returning Officers and local police, but we go by the reports of ROs, he said, adding, in some cases, the catergorisation is same.
"Hyper-sensitive polling stations were also in Tehkhand, Khichripur, Jhilmil. Generally, JJ colonies and some other areas where communal disharmony could be traced are declared under such categories," the official said.
A total of 6,68,870 voters were entitled to exercise their franchise in the by-elections for wards falling under three corporations - SDMC (7), NDMC (4) and EDMC (2), out of which 3,06,990 or 45.9 per cent voted.
"Shalimar Bagh (North), Wazirpur, Matiala, Munirka had sensitive polling stations while Ballimaran and Vikas Nagar had ultra-sensitive ones each. Nawada, Nankpura and Quamruddin Nagar did not have stations falling into any of the three categories," he said.
