The Safdarjung observatory, figure of which is considered the official reading for the city, recorded a maximum temperature of 36.9 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, while the minimum temperature settled at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, said a MeT department official.
The humidity level oscillated between 82 and 56 per cent.
The city did not record rainfall since yesterday.
The MeT department has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 37 and 27 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
