Watches can never be called accessories: Abhisek

As one who admittedly wears his watches 24 hours a day, actor Abhisek Bachchan thinks these tiny specks on wrist can never become accessories.
"Yes there may be people who take watches as accessories. I don't know the reasons. For me watches are essentials in one's life," Abhisek told PTI here recently.
The 'Bol Bachchan' actor said, "I wear international brands. And I wear my watch 24 hours a day."
Asked if he has a fetish for watches, and how many he has, Abhisek replied with a grin, "I have lost count of. But I collect watches."
Abhisek said, from actor George Clooney to 22 Olympic medal winner Michael Phelps, Omega has a wide array of brand ambassadors "signifying excellence in sports and films."

"Not a bad idea if we all can meet and collaborate in a project in our capacities. Me, here in India, and others," Abhisek said.
"As it is we often meet through Omega," he said.
Abhisek, who shares screen space with SRK in Happy New Year after Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna in 2006, said there was no immediate word of him turning up in a Bengali film project but he would always look forward to.
