Water level in Mettur dam at 74.16 feet

: The water level in the Mettur dam today stood at 74.16 feet against its full level of 1320 feet.
The inflow was 118 cusecs and outflow 500 cusecs, PWD officials said.
They said there would not be shortage of drinking water as the dam has enough storage. The water level during the same period last year was just 17.13 feet, they said.
