Bhakra dam today recorded a water level of 1,670 feet, which is 6.07 feet less than what it was on the same day last year, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Irrigation Department said.
The water level in Pong dam was recorded at 1,364.13 feet, which is 20.70 feet lower than the level in the corresponding period last year, he said.
He said the inflow of water in Bhakra was 10,356 cusecs against 15,494 cusecss last year and the water release from Bhakra dam is 17,167 cusecs, against 12,185 cusecs last year.
